I had a lovely swim in Andark Lake. The water was clean, and the area was well maintained. The booking was easy, 1 hr weekdays swim session for £7.50. Clean changing rooms and toilets. Coffee was reasonably priced. I met some lovely people while I was there. It was a fantastic first experience, I have already booked my second visit.

Lovely place to camp really quiet and relaxing. We didn't use the lake but everyone who was, was having a great time. Toilets and showers were nice and clean and never a queue. Husband said there was a slight leak in the men's which needs to be fixed. Pitch is at the top of the small hill and can get windy. But only seems to effect the higher tents. Dog friendly!

The lake has a temperature guage on their website. Good showers and changing rooms. The lake itself is beautiful, swimming with the moorhens and water lilies was so peaceful. Nice cafe and staff too.

Attended recently for a work related course. Good training facilities, clean changing rooms, and a tasty and well balanced lunch provided from the cafe. It's a shame I don't live locally, as I would come to open water swim if I did. Nice to see a grass snake make an appearance too!

Absolutely beautiful spot, away from it all . Only negative is that if you dont shower before the hoards of locals arrive for there morning swim , you will find the shower room afloat . I noticed that there was a comment re shower temperature, have to agree that understandable for the wild swimmers buy only just warm . Lovely pub at end of the lane & only 15 min walk to the station.
