This park is excellent. Location is excellent for adventuring out to the coast. We stayed here for 5 nights on a fully serviced pitch, no issues. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers kept clean and to a good standard. Has its own dog exercise pen, fully enclosed. We will return.

Absolutely beautiful campsite. Me and my partner stayed for 4 nights. My first time camping. Leigh and David were so friendly and helpful, explaining everything. It's an adults only site, which is perfect to just get away from hustle and bustle. The weather was really miserable nearly all the time we were there, but didn't stop our enjoyment. It's a beautiful, clean, well kept site. We met some really lovely dogs and their owners. And we will definitely book again, and hopefully the weather will be better

An excellent touring park with 52 pitches and is adult only. Staff were very friendly and the park was very peaceful. Dogs are allowed. There is a little pathway halfway up on the right that leads directly to a farm shop. There is a laundrette and decent shower/toilet facilities. There is a little games room with a pool table and chess board too. The highlight for us was the superb dog paddock which was totally secure.... Excellent fun for our 4 legged friends. I would definitely return. Visited 24th August 2024

This site was absolutely amazing. The lady who saw us in was super friendly. Although we didn't have a dog, plenty of other campers did. There was a dedicated area fenced in with bushes and little hills for them to run about in. There was also a bothy with a pool table in, but we didn't go into it. There were also some of the nicest showers and toilets I have seen in years. The site itself was immaculate, and there was no litter or long grass or weeds anywhere. The road is a big loop with a barrier that scans your reg plate to get in. There is also a small gate and path that goes through a field that takes you to a butchers and a cookery school (the sausages are good and not badly priced either). Also, it's only 5 miles off a dual carriage way, so access with a caravan is great. Basically, I would recommend this site to anyone. We will be back

2nd review… Again at Barley Meadow. Lovely welcome, fantastic pitch and all the facilities immaculate…. Leigh & Dave do a wonderful job, looking after the site, commendable…. Will definitely be returning 2025 for more visits. What a find, a value for money, extremely clean and lovely located campsite for adults. Staff are brilliantly friendly, booking in was a breeze at reception; getting in and out super easy with number plate recognition and pitches are very generous. No problems with the hook ups, one way system on site road ensures no snarl up and toilets, waste disposal and drinking water taps easy to locate and use. Will definitely be returning in time. Quite central to all the lovely places Devon has to offer. Can’t recommend enough.
