Our stay was definitely glamorous! Provided with all the necessary amenities. The beds were comfortable, the restrooms were immaculate, and the surroundings were conducive to tranquility. We're very pleased with our stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

We have just returned home after spending 4 nights at the Royal Victoria site. The site is very well managed, thank you Alison and your helpers. The tents are of a substantial size with comfy beds, table lamp, electric (log burner style) heater (if you need it) and a trunk to store bags. The tents are raised off the floor, carpeted and have decking outside with a picnic bench and fire pit with a grill for heat and BBQ. There is a shack with everything you need, fridge to store your food/drink, plates, bowls, mugs etc, cutlery, pans, kettles (tea & coffee provided). A place to cook, and eat under cover. Guests are asked to wash up after themselves, the majority did, but as you may guess, 1 or 2 didn’t. The showers are warm & clean as are the toilets. The location is peaceful and quiet, set in the beautiful grounds of the Royal Victoria park and easy access to surrounding tourist interests. We will definitely return, along with our 2 dogs who were made to feel very welcome.

Fab stay on bank holiday Monday. Great set up, low stress and would consider taking the kids on my own without any help as it’s a small and well maintained site. Felt safe, lovely families there and everything kept clean. Will be back again.

We booked this last minute for a night with my husband and 3 year and it exceeded our expectations. The tents are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The location is right in the middle of the park with the Chapel and play area within in 5 minutes walk. The cooking space was perfect and sociable. Can't wait to return with more people!!

We had a lovely stay! The tent are very comfortable. The place is clean, the staff is very friendly and it’s so nice to sleep in such a quiet place. Note: We paid £10 to have the duvet on our double bed which was very convenient!
