After not camping for many years, my partner, Debbie and I decided to try Blackberry Wood. We found Mark and Clair to be very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The customer service was outstanding and nothing was too much of annissueThe campsites are beautifully laid out and private from each other. The bathrooms are basic, perfect for wild camping. The wash up area is nicely laid out, even down to the design of the pipes for hot and cold water. We will definitely be staying again

My 10 year old granddaughter and my 75 year old self have just spent a fantastic 4 days in Blackberry Wood. I had not been in a tent for over 65 years and was rather apprehensive about starting again at my age but we couldn't have chosen a better place. Everything was amazing from the private glades and fire pits to the wash and toilet buildings and the complete lack of noise except the bird song. Ryan was so helpful and obviously loves his job. My granddaughter didn't want to leave. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful place.

Such an amazing stay at BlackBerry Wood in the holiday bus! The most stunning surroundings and they have thought of everything! The care taken by the staff was impressive and we really felt so well looked after! It felt like they enjoyed thier jobs and in each visit to the shop we got to chat and ask questions without feeling a nuisance in any way. Everything you need is on site and for my little bit- staying on a bus and looking out of the window to a fire engine and helicopter was like a dream come true. He cried when we had to leave. If you are considering a trip here- do it! You won’t regret it!! We will be back!!!

We've stayed at Blackberry Wood 3 times now, on our most recent visit we were booked to stay in the Silver Bullet Airstream. Unfortunately it was quite disappointing, obviously your going to get some creepy crawlies out in the countryside but there seemed to be cobwebs and spiders everywhere inside the Airstream (not just little ones either 😬🕷️) and we've never had that issue with our other visits, it also smelt very musty and not very very pleasant, the beds were uncomfortable especially the sofa bed which was awful 😞. After the first night we decided to either ask if there was anything else we could stay in or we considered leaving. I spoke to the people at reception who were apologetic and helpful, we moved to the new Blackberry lodge and even stayed an extra night as it felt like our first night was a bit of a waste and wow what a difference, the lodge was much more up to the standard we expected from Blackberry Wood, it was clean and pleasant and we all ended up having a great time, as usual the kids didn't want to leave (and neither did we). Overall we had a lovely holiday just as we usually do when we come to Blackberry Wood and will more then likely come back again next year (although not to stay in the Silver Bullet 😅).

Had high expectations due to all the previous excellent reviews but was very disappointed. On arrival the car park was full & no staff to offer help or guidance on where to park. Had to track down a wheelbarrow to carry everything to the pitch. Pitch was next to a smelly stagnant pond full of mosquitos (pack lots of repellant!). An all night rave took place later that evening until 4am in a neighbouring field which kept us awake all night. The same music boomed out again the following night. Please be aware this may be a regular occurrence over the summer weekends, and although out of the control of the campsite we were not offered any form of refund or compensation. There is a no noise after 11pm policy on the campsite but this was not enforced. The showers were not in a good state of repair & not regularly cleaned. On the plus side the kids did enjoy the play area & there is a good walk to the local pub.
