A great location with a lovely river flowing through the campsite. The facilities are however quite basic for the price per night charged. No lights in the toilet blocks and no soap to wash hands afterwards until day 3 when I think a camper added a bar of soap. Showers were not necessarily that warm and the block nearest to our field had 1 shower cubicle padlocked, so only 1 shower between the tents and large groups in those fields which was insufficient.

We have stayed at this campsite for 2 nights. Firstly we would like to say that we loved the location on the river. However we were really unhappy with the facilities. The toilets were not clean and in bad condition, there was no hot water for washing up, no hot water in the shower and not all the showers worked. We paid £100 for 2 nights for 2 adults and 1 child. That is really too expensive for the poor facilities.

The best stay, owners are so kind and helpful. We got given a fire pit of no charge to use for the night, really lovely settings and environment. Will be coming again very soon, thankyou!

Beautiful spot for camping. Large fields and a lot of space between campers. Flushing loos and spacious hot showers a luxury! River perfect for playing - the kids had a brilliant time! And the Anchor Pub a short stroll away if we wanted ice creams or hot food. Cars are tucked away in the parking field, which is nice also. Boathouse Farm Camping is simple and heavenly!

Absolutely gorgeous campsite, the river is deep and good for swimming. Owner met us at the entrance and helped us with our stuff and even gave us a ride back to the site. Clean nice toilets and warm showers. What more can you ask for?
