Spent a week here in September. Friendly greeting, option to choose own pitch. Hard standing pitches are fairly level. Three toilet blocks which were always clean. The site was quiet in the week, though come Friday lots of people arrived, many in groups, which did increase the noise somewhat.

Great place to camp, great amenities, clean and well maintained. Adjacent to the Forest of Dean and walking distance to the River Wye. No on-site entertainment, but that is a positive, as the place is peaceful in the evening, mainly occupied by families with young children. A local on-site shop sells everything you would expect, milk, meats, cereals etc. The only negative thing I can say about the place is the lack of any mobile signal, however, this may be a plus for some people.

What a beautiful site. Very well maintained and pitches spread out. Shown personally to our choice of setting. Fantastic dog walks. Planned 1 night, stayed 2 ... wish it could have been more !

You are in a stunning location, surrounded by nature. We stayed in one of the glamping pods, which was beautifully clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Top of my list of places to go for forest walks and general peace and quiet.

I've just spent 4 nights in a dog-friendly pod, and it was perfect. The pitch was great, with lovely views; the facilities were clean, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. There are fantastic walks direct from the site - I didn't use the car at all. I can't wait to go back, and would highly recommend this site, whatever your unit.
