About This Campsite
- Location Tips: While the site is a bit of a walk from Brighton's center, it's well-connected by buses, making it easy to get around without a car. Do note the proximity to a local football club, which can occasionally cause some noise, particularly during matches.
- Campsite Amenities: Visitors praise the cleanliness of the facilities, including immaculate shower blocks and friendly, helpful staff. There is an extra treat with on-site street food prepared by Chef Philippe.
- Considerations for Campers: For those considering staying in the pods, be aware that they are small and may present challenges with cooking. If visiting during the August Bank Holiday, be prepared for increased activity due to local events.
- Pet Considerations: Dog owners can benefit from local dog-sitting recommendations, adding flexibility to their stay.

Please make sure to check out the schedule of the football club that’s next to the camping. When we were staying at one of their pods, we got 2 nights in a row of lots of noise from the football field. Not exactly what we were expecting or enjoying. The pods are very small and not that well equipped. Cooking is quite a challenge in the very small kitchen. The surroundings are nice and the staff is friendly and tried its best to solve issues. Please be aware that the camping is pretty far from Brighton center (and it’s quite a walk to the nearby busstop).

The site was in an excellent location a short walk to the marina and about 30 minutes walk into Brighton town centre, plenty of buses so you don’t have to drive if you don’t want to. The staff were friendly and welcoming, they keep the toilet block well maintained and site was clean and tidy. The pitches were a good size, I would recommend staying here, we will definitely be going back.

Took my VW Campervan Short walk down to the sea front. Made very welcome on my arrival. Receptionist even recommended a dog sitter so I could explore whilst staying in Brighton. Walked me to my pitch and discussed everything I needed to know for my stay. However, I did get shouted at the next day by one of the staff on a site buggy. This was from the road, so I felt other guests probably heard. As I was near the exit barrier and toilet/shower block I had put my camper at an angle so other guests would not see me sitting on my bed. The other staff had not said that this was a problem. Although it's a lovely location, other guests very friendly I will not be returning. It was my first adventure on my own, took me 5hrs to get there from Nth Devon, but I do not like being shouted at. No need .

This is an ideal location for Brighton, however, don't be fooled by all the peace and tranquility. It can be busy getting in and out during the football season, as there is a local league team next door and August Bank Holiday, the site fills with 2 stroke vespas that come in and out at all hours. It's immaculately clean and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Staying again in a few days. Love it
