We booked last minute to visit the bucket and spade, what a lovely campsite, we were greeted at the gate and given all the information we needed, we were soon on our pitch and sat in the caravan having a cuppa enjoying the peace and quiet. Site is well maintained and showers and toilets spotless, lovely clean smell each time you walked in. There’s a nice walk to the local pub that you take from the site, took about 5mins to get to The Anchor. Will definitely be revisiting this lovely site

Fantastic location - tranquil , safe and lots of local beauty spots and nearby cycle trails to the beach. The shepherds hut names Woody was our stop for two nights, and it was extremely comfortable for my son and I (he on top bunk, me on the double at the bottom )

Had a great one night stay here during our trip away. Despite the wet weather, we made the most of the neighbouring pub, The Anchor, and enjoyed the quiet campsite for some much-needed rest and downtime.

First time to this site and we've had a lovely relaxed stay. Was first pitch on site could hear road noise but it didn't bother us or interfere with our stay. Toilet/showers are very clean and modern. Site is very peaceful with plenty of space between each pitch. We were recommended lots of lovely dog walks where dogs can be off lead. Nice pub 2mins up road serving good food and is dog friendly too. Owners very helpful friendly and accommodating to individual needs. Would definitely recommend this site and will be returning.
