This is a lovely quiet site with very good hardstanding pitches with a grassed area to each side with a picnic table. The kitchen is really well equipped. Toilet and showers lovely and clean. There is a field for tent camping and a very cute glamping pod. The site is dog friendly. George was an excellent host. His retired shire horse, Doll, likes an apple or two! 10 minute walk to a local pub called the Shovels. We had a great weekend.

Very small site, for roughly 7 small tents, caravan,hard standing is on the other side of trees segragrated from campers. The ground is very muddy, no drainage. The grounds are very poorly kept barely no keep at all, everything is over grown and hidden. Safety isn't their top priority, as we found out, when the single bench we sat on collapsed under us. The archway to the toilet is made from the broken down trees and it got lowered during the rain storm we had and hit my husband in the head. The water pipe for the water was stuck in the top of a road cone covered in leaves and slugs and cobwebs. There is nothing else on site. Can't believe it is caravan and camping club certified. The toilets are clean 1 per gender plus a shower each costing 50p. The laundry room has a washer, dryer and fridge freezer for campers use which is also maintained well. No contact with the site owner the whole week we was there. They are an elderly couple that live on the site in a bungalow.

Back after another great stay thanx again George. Doll the shire horse was keeping us company on Friday our little dog loved her , short walk to the pub the Shovels and bus stops to Lytham and Blackpool, clean site as always , certainly be back

Wow ! Avoid like the plague! Toilets and showers in poor condition, lady , which I presume is George's wife , is one rude lady , they want your 30 quid or whatever they decide to charge u , depends I think on what you look like ! And don't think for a minute you can have people to visit you !!! Oh no , my sister and husband and there 13 yo daughter came to England from the States and were stopped at the entrance ! No if or buts , not even for half an hour ! Unbelievable totally spoit it all for everyone, who ever says that his is clean needs to go to ,,,, utter disgrace
