Had the most amazing stay at this incredible campsite. The facilities are first class, the view is second to none and the owners are really friendly…. Not a big commercialised campsite which made the stay so special

Beautiful night camping here after my second day hiking the Cotswolds Way. Highly recommend! I had the campsite to myself - super peaceful and gorgeous views across the valley with spectacular sunset. Great shower and toilet facilities down at the house with great water pressure. The next morning head down the hill to Dunkertons Cider Shop for a great coffee and pastry!

Lots of confusion at this stay. Paid online and got a $0 due email receipt, so it was a surprise to be asked to pay in person again. And when I say asked, I mean it was written on the instructions in the room. I tried to grab the owners multiple times after arrival, but then emailed them asking them to stop by. They essentially said “no, come find me [here].” Quite rude. Just stop by once to make sure everything is ok and collect payment. I should not have to track you down when I have no idea the property. As well, I wasted 20quid since the website provides no information as to how to book at the 50quid rate. Very frustrating.

Great place to stay for my 2nd night stay walking Cotswold Way, may take a short while to make contact with the owner on arrival, but when you do nothings to much trouble in this clean and quiet place, maybe a downside for some having to cook from the supplied food, but your host likes to leave you in peace and quiet, which I enjoyed, on my personal side I was silly to leave without my phone charger, but after calling the owner and texting my home address, he's sending back to me!
