Nice enough site with good toilets and showers, but lacking local facilities like a pub. Quite a lot of traffic noise, and good access to park and ride into Durham , nb P&R doesn't operate on a Sunday.

Lovely clean site The reception team are pleasant and really helpful. The park and ride into Durham is about 10 minutes walk and well worth using. The real gem is the close by Belmont Social Club. Brilliant club with really friendly locals and a great steward. We will definitely be going back there the next time we are up here. If you ask the receptionists they will show you a short cut which then takes around 10 minutes walk to the club. You won't be disappointed

This is a very good site, very well maintained roads and piches. Spotless toilets and showers. There's a pleasant walk from the site along the River Wear bank into the centre of Durham, though it's only suitable for those who are able to walk on uneven surfaces.

This is a great site for a stopover on a long trip or for visiting local places. Excellent facilities and friendly wardens. Being adjacent to the A1M you will experience some road noise from passing traffic.

This caravan site is extremely handy for the A1 and although there is a bit of traffic noise it's not a huge problem for us. There is the usual facilities including a laundry, dishwasing area and toilets and showers. Although we had a fully serviced pitch for a caravan and awning we would have struggled to put our awning up as the pitch seems a bit on the small side, although some others looked bigger.
