Lovely site with plenty of sorts to watch and a little pub. The lady's showers were lovely and clean and the pitches were level and equipped

Basic campsite, shower block really not up to scratch. 2 toilets for the full site, one with no lock. Showers scalding hot and not very clean. Bar is nice, good to watch a cricket match. Overall ok, needs an upgrade of facilities before I would come back

I'm not sure where to start? Positives are the location, being a 10 min walk to the Woolpack pub. The Shipyard Ale sold at the clubhouse is cold and kept well. However it's like camping in the city centre!! It is a sports club so extremely busy and noisy. No soap in any of the toilets, and only 2 toilets open on an incredibly busy campsite . Campers all squashed in. At £26 a night we definitely expected better. It maybe quieter mid week? but unfortunately we came for the weekend, which in my opinion is best avoided. Plus the netting on the football field is in need of urgent repair before a football hits a camper van at high speed and causes serious damage!! No sleep in on a saturday or sunday due to football matches right outside your van.

It's a lovely site in a nice place. Toilet facilities could be better/cleaner. Had a bad first night due to a large group of adults and children awake all night due to shouting, screaming, fighting and general drunken rowdy behaviour right through to 0500 so had no sleep. However staff did ask them to leave the site next morning, do dealt with promptly. I would just say the owner needs to stick to the rules he sets for guests of no large groups as s family site and no noise after 9,pm which was a bit of a joke.

Lovely site with large grassy area to pitch or park . Tom was great and very friendly. Showers are basic but hot and clean . The sports club hosts lots of activities but still lovely and peaceful . Just background noise .
