Family site which allows kids, has penned animals at farm. But charge £10 per child to be inside chickens areas. Cafe- was nice breakfast reasonably priced. Surprised allowed fires around tents, in a very small field area, with lots children and dogs, even some fires were still burning, so tent stank and noise of popping from fires, after 2330 at night?! Seems to be NO sort of supervision. About 12 tent pitches and 2 v small woodman cabins.

What a beautiful camping site and cafe. My son and his family, our grandchildren, spent the bank holiday weekend here. We live 5 minutes away. Nice clean site with a lot of things around to keep everyone happy. Public toilets are very clean. The scenery is beautiful, you could be anywhere.

Nice little farm and cafe, but unfortunately my 3 year old granddaughter only wanted to have a look at the rabbit in the run, but we were told we were not allowed through the gate where this was because we hadn't paid for an animal session, we didn't want all the petting and feeding, she just wanted 5 minutes to see it. So we won't be visiting again sorry as she didn't get to interact with any of the animals because we didn't pay the 10 pound

We paid £35 for one night (with electricity and a dog). We have been camping for many years (this was our 9th weeekend away just this year) and we have NEVER come across such a bad site: - tiny pitches, tents were literally cramped next to each other one meter apart - we've been to family friendly sites before which was never a problem - but within such a close proximity on this site this meant there were way too many people and kids crammed within a tiny space (very noisy as you can imagine) - no proper facilities - 2 portaloos for 30-40 people! And two cabin / portable showers. Absolutely unbelievable for the price they charge. - the overflow field is not only on a slope but so uneven, I really wish I took some photos to share as a proof - it was so bad we decided to rather loose money and find somewhere else for the night than stay and have an awful experience. I really wish someone had warned us - the owner said there was nothing wrong with the pitch so no refund given (despite the fact we paid extra for electricity which we did not use and the dog that ended up not being there). It ruined our weekend and left nothing but a bitter taste... I have no idea how this site got any positive reviews at all.

Lovely, well kept animals to watch, nice little cafe. You can feed the animals too. They have two adorable alpacas that you can take for a walk. Lovely.
