We had an absolutely incredible time here. We stayed for a long weekend and loved being back to basics in nature. Andy gave us a lovely quick tour and showed us our pitch when we arrived. Being able to load up your items onto a trolley and wheel it to your pitch is a wonderful thing too! Greatly appreciate that, especially for when we buy more firewood. There's a nice pub just a short walk away too which does a fantastic Sunday lunch if you want a break from campfire food. We'll be back again as soon as we can, it's a lovely site and you can really tell it's well cared for and the owners pride and joy. Also Andy if you are reading this, don't forget to oil that one trolley! 😂

It's our second time here with both dogs and the pitches are really great and well maintained. Perfect getaway and lovely layout - it's pretty large and will be definitely back again. Andy and the staff are friendly. The showers in the annexe are available 24/7 nearby which is handy - i would say that the shower drain needs to be unblocked and cleaned but the hot water does work otherwise. I'm not going to complain too much as it is just a natural campsite and we're perfectly fine without proper showers too.

Lovely staff who helped with any issues both in person and very responsive on text. Location is remote enough for quietness but close enough to places if you need anything. The camping spot itself was great with an amazing private forest feel with plenty of space.

A great place to camp if you're after somewhere quiet. Andy the owner is such a lovely chap and will happily talk to you about anything! This campsite is also very affordable for what you get. And the campfires are a big plus :)

We had a lovely time at Fire and Stars. Andy was really welcoming and accommodating, he even switched our pitch after we rang up beforehand as we had a big tent. It was lovely being able to camp in the woodland and the fire pit was brilliant! Very peaceful surroundings. The campsite was great - loved the go karts and the book library! It will be even better once the new toilets are in.
