Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our camping trip at Flaxton meadows we were made to feel very welcome, the facilities were immaculate, every where was very clean and tidy, the bar had a great variety of drinks, the York gin is defiantly worth a try, the pizza was also delicious, we both want to thank all the staff for making us feel so welcome, jo and Paul welcomed us on our first night and helped us settle in, thank you for the extra pegs for our tent they helped massively!! (Otherwise we probably would have blown away 😄), Louise and Micheal was very helpful, and was there to check us out and wish us a safe journey Thank you for making our first camping experience a good one !! X

The best mini break we have ever had. The Paris cabin is stunning. Beautifully designed and so luxurious. Everything was spot on. Flaxton Meadows provides everything you could need from cutlery to coffee. The hot tub was so nice, really warm. We will definitely be returning. The staff were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble.

Friendly welcome on arrival, spacious pitches for tents. Great to have access to a bar & pizza van serving delicious hot food to order. The washrooms are clean and warm (I was asked on last day to check my crocs for wet grass, I always wiped my feet) The website states peaceful retreat, however, the tent pitches are situated by a main road with a cattle grid. There is a natural tree screen but the traffic noise does start early.

What a wonderful site this is! Highly recommend to anyone! Booked a quick getaway before going back to uni and this just hit the spot. Peaceful and beautiful, that staff are lovely and welcoming. Gorgeous facilities and a lovely little pizza van open most evenings and a bar area! We will most certainly be back!!

Superb touring site. The roads to the site are in poor condition but that's not the fault of the site. Immaculately maintained, superb showers and toilets. Loved the on-site bar and resident pizza truck. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends or family, looking to stay again next year.
