Really nice, well kept, clean campsite. There are only a small number of tent pitches as it's mostly a caravan and motorhome park but the tent pitches are spacious and close to the shower block. I have no complaints, it was a lovely place to stay for a week.

Great site with exceptionally clean facilities. Super walks from the door and well positioned for the local area. Pitches feel roomy too.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction while visiting one of your sites at the weekend. Firstly i would like to say we have never encountered anything like this on any CAMC sites previously. We booked the site last week using a voucher we had for CAMC for Friday and Saturday night. On the Friday we encountered heavy traffic on the way due to a breakdown and called the site to say unfortunately we may be late by around 20 mins. Could they leave a key or pitch no and I was actually astounded by the rude response my partner received ! The lady on the other end said NOPE we close at 8 o'clock there is no provision for late arrivals the barrier will be closed and you cannot get entry. My partner pleaded can someone not stay just a bit longer to let us in and again she was met with NOPE i finish at 8 o'clock i am going home for a shower and have my tea then the call ended. I then rechecked sat nav and it said we would actually arrive at 8.10 so I tried to call back but it went to answer phone again so I left a message asking for a call back, this was 7.40 PM so the site was still open but no return call. I drove until 8.00PM and still no return call after trying again and then had to make the decision to make the 1hr 30min drive back home. I then returned the next day and expressed my disappointment at the previous night's telephone call and asked who in fact was in charge but got nowhere and was told, oh well at least you are here now and we would be refunded the Friday nights stay(which I still dont have).My partner then went into the office to ask why would they be so rude on the phone and not return calls but was told that this was the first time in 13 years they had been called rude which i very much doubt ! I get the site must be asked to stay late all the time and this is not ideal but from a customer point of view there are much better ways to handle this and they would have had my utmost gratitude for helping us out and probably return visits and a great review instead of the negative one they are about to get. Once again thankfully this is the first time we have ever encountered such rudeness from any other CAMC site as they are always spot on. Also maybe you can advise if the Friday nights stay has been put back on our voucher ?I have also tried to call back today to find out about our refund and surprise surprise no call back

Great location for the town of Forfar in walking distance and bus stop. Park outside of the gate with a nature walk and lakeside Quiet at night but remember the fly screens. Scotland is midge central.

Situated a short walk away from Forfar town centre, this is a small but pretty site. The shower blocks were immaculate, the men's were somewhat unusual in that the showers and sinks/toilets were in separate rooms. The information board was one of the most informative I've come across.
