Very disappointed card payments only in bar. I had loads of cash to use up so it was a shame. Staff were great and managed to fit me in for extra night. I really appreciated that. I changed my original posting coz it was unfair. The site is probably the tidiest I've ever seen and the groundsman friendly and very busy keeping the site wonderful.

Just returned from 3 nights at Forget me not in our Campervan .They only have a small amount of touring pitches which were hardstanding fully serviced.Nice clean well kept site with good facilities. Has a pub and grill but unfortunately we didn't use as dogs are not allowed but we're informed they do a takeaway service. We found a lovely dog friendly pub just a mile down the road from the site. If you are a dog owner as we were there is no dog walking area as such, just a stroll around the site which was unfortunate. Staff were very helpful. We were arriving from Scotland and were worried we may not meet the check-in deadline but we're informed not to worry if we kept them informed of progress they would sort us out. Fortunately our journey to the site went as planned and as reception was closed when we arrived the check-in was handled by a lovely chap at the pub opposite the reception. On our departure we were meeting another member of the family at the Morpeth train station for an onward journey and were kindly allowed to leave our van in the main carpark whilst we went to pick them up in the car. Overall cannot fault our visit and would definitely return.

Little bit of a captive audience as the nearest village/pub is quite a walk down a lane without a footpath for around a mile. That said the facilities on site are tip top. The bar and restaurant along with service are excellent. We will definitely use the site again and would highly recommend.

Having visited this site in the past my wife called and emailed them this week to enquire about booking a motorhome pitch in a couple of weeks time. She waited 6 days but got no reply so sent a follow up message via Facebook today. Within in an hour she had a notification they had blocked her on Facebook. Her message was not offensive and was a simple request for a reply to the earlier request. We will not be trying to book here again and will avoid Maguires sites elsewhere. Never had such a poor response from any business let alone one that should rely on responding to enquiries.
