Great little camp site nice open spaces for kids to play and very clean. The area has good access to so nice walks, and also, the local Carbost on a Sunday is just a short walk down the main road. The site itself I was a little frustrated with when I fish on Saturday as a keen fisherman and a angling trust bailiff I was surprised about the lack of rules on the lake most others didn't have landing mats and was very rowdy by midday so I sadly packed up and went back to the van. The price of fishing is very cheap and in my eyes it is too cheap to maintain a small lake with some good fish in. These issues with the fish care in the lake in my eyes needs to be addressed. But happy with my stay there

Just spent two nights here with grandchildren. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. Site very well maintained, clean, grass pitches large and grass was kept short with no grass cuttings on ground. The lakes were well stocked and superb for our grandsons first experience of fishing - he caught three fish! Lovely off road walks from site to local villages. Great area for children to play ball games etc away from pitches. Couldn't fault our stay and would certainly recommend this site.

We had a pretty good stay here all in all but I think it's worth pointing out some pros and cons. The pros, it's very cheap!, it's a big field so quite a bit of space, they do have some facilities and there's some nice walks and potentially fishing (we didn't try it) nearby. There's also a big security gate which is great. The cons, although there are many rules on the site they were lenient on ball games, bikes and scooters not caring very much for other campers. There are toilets and showers that are well maintained but there's 1 male toilet, 1 female toilet and 2 showers, for a big campsite it definitely wasn't enough. We also had to go collect the shower key to use the shower which isn't ideal if you're used to showering early/late or if you decide to shower during the football it turns out they won't be best pleased!

Only stayed 1 night as needed a stopover whilst heading north. Close to M6/M69/M1 but far enough away for no road noise. Really nice smiling welcome and shown where everything is. Clean showers/loos, and covered pot wash area. £14 per night without EHU £17 with. We will definitely return for longer next time going north/south. Highly recommend... thank you Naomi and Ken.

Lovel quite spot clean and tidy with breakfast/burger bar on weekend mornings and ice cream van visits in the afternoon. Only left down is showers always ran out of hot water, why no heat on demand shower? they still have a imersion tank shower system that takes 20 minutes to heat up. It is a nasty shock when you get cold water half way through your shower with no warning
