I loved it, the location was amazing, there was a lake nearby and it was beautiful. Also, going to Aqua Splash (you have to pay separately) was super fun! Would definitely go again if needed. One problem is that my dog always has to be on a lead, and my dog gets upset.

We had a Wonderful experience. Clean , quiet, beautiful place outside. Very close there's a nice coffee shop, great tasty food and very strong coffee. Activities for kids nearby as well. In the evening there's a romantic view around. Friendly and helpful staff members. Thank you and see you soon because we'll be back to spend more weekends here.

I normally don’t leave a comment or review. But I am really disappointed, the standards had been below par. Absolutely mediocre and not worth the money and trip. I do understand the 1 star is quite harsh but hear me out 1 : Beds inside the tent are dirty ( filthy ) almost at the verge of breaking. 2 : we weren’t allowed to put a tarp, or a cover on the field between tents, as it can damage the tents apparently. So no shelter during rain. 3: Dogs have to be on lead, although they are happy to charge for dogs per night 4: BBQ and fire pit provided, was old dirty and broken. It took us good 40 minutes to find one which was not broken so we can clean and use it. 5: No hot water in shower, No hot water for dishes. 6: one box of wood £15, and not allowed to go to woods to collect either. 7: Tents are quite close to each other. Not much privacy and quite loud. 8: customer service is quite really abysmal too, the person on site. I can go on. As seasoned campers, we are used to remote and less to none amenities, however if you pay for certain services, you expect something. It was such a big let down. We will not be returning again. 2 Families or 2 adults and kids and 1 dog each. Please avoid this. The rest of the review somehow seem fake. It’s nothing as it’s described.

Our stay at the accommodation was a major disappointment, as it did not look at all like the pictures. The grids ot the bed were broken, and the fold-out Z beds were very dirty and damp. The tents were also missing chest of drawers, which made organizing our belongings difficult. Additionally, it was quite disgusting that the swan droppings were not cleaned up from the sandy shore in the mornings. It is unpleasant for children to play in that area and for guests to have to walk through it to go swimming. The location is also problematic. The glamping is close to the airport, so planes arrive continuously until 2 AM and start again from 6 AM. There's a nearby factory that operates loudly 24/7, and if that wasn't enough, there's shooting practice nearby all day. So, if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. Considering all these issues, the place is highly overpriced. However, the glamping area itself is beautiful and cozy. Each tent has outdoor seating and a barbecue area, which is a nice touch. The clear highlight of the place is the lake, where you can swim.

I'm going to start with the service we received, absolutely amazing. Soonest we got there, we felt super welcomed by Claire. Beautiful soul! Thank you, Riley and me really appreciate your kindness, and of course the ice lolly too :) Dan, the owner, also just one of the kindest people we ever met! He let us stay for longer on our pitch, so we can explore the area and wouldn't have to carry all our stuff around..He checked on us and others all the time if we needed anything and if we were okay, handed out the kayaks for us and others to use it on the lake, which was super fun :)As we didn't have a car, he also dropped us to the nearby station at the end, so we didn't have to walk in the hot weather. You don't get this kind of service anywhere..Thank you! All other staff members were also amazing to us, the best service we received so far, and we are serial campers. We like simple, basic camping, so we brought our own tent, but saw all the glamping tents, they all looked great and comfortable, each one had a table, fire pit and BBQ to use, electricity and furniture. Toilets, showers and there's also free cold drinking water available. We choose this place because it was close to where we live, it has a lake and activities for kids. Also the price is amazing, for what you get! We were able to swim in the lake from morning to evening and the kids loved the lake activities with all the kayaks etc... The place is very tidy and looked after, also a nice bunch of people we met whilst we were there. Dan and his team is doing and amazing job there and they made us feel like family. We can only recommend and already looking for the next date to book!
