Absolutely incredible campsite. Thank you. Stunning location, with beautiful views and the surrounding nature was lovely. Very peaceful environment, we enjoyed plenty of space between us and the other campers. Plenty of fresh water available and the toilet and shower facilities were very impressive. (I was anticipating portaloos but they were actually lovely inside with proper loos and sinks!) Helpful and welcoming host. Feedback from the other members of my family who stayed also: 'It was the best campsite I've ever been to, it was really nice and peaceful.' and 'Felt really safe.' We would definitely recommend this to anyone considering camping locally.

A really chilled out and relaxed campsite. Nothing was a problem and the site manager was on call and very responsive and friendly. The facilities are basic but as advertised and clean. The showers are good. The view is great especially considering how conveniently situated near the city. I would definitely come again and recommend it.

A wonderful little campsite just outside Oxford. Basic facilities, but adequate and well maintained. If you want a really quiet spot, then I would recommend the plateau pitch.

We were disappointed with our stay, we arrived around 20:25, we were told to arrive at 20:30 latest, this was not mentioned on the booking site at all. The beds in the bell tent were not made up at all, we had to put up the beds and put covers on pillows and duvets. Non of the lights worked so all of this was done by phone light. There was music playing all night until 5am. When we went to leave at 8:30 the next morning the gates to the campsite were not working, couldn’t get hold of the owner, the man that tried to help (I presume he worked there) was a very angry individual, getting irate at my husband for needing to leave. We waited over 25mins to leave along with 4 other vehicles, we were finally let out through a farmers gate through the field. £217 for 1 night. Not good enough

Local families (x10) coming together to camp, ranging from 2 month old to 50+year olds. The campsite and their staff were welcoming. Facilities were simple and clean (**bonus big fire pit and long wild grasses) and location are great and accessibility to Shotover for walks were wonderful! A lovely time had by all. Thank you to Phil and Mark, campsite team.
