We were really impressed with the campsite. It was our first family camping trip with our son and he loved every moment of it. The facilities were always clean and everything was easily sign posted. The pitch was ample space. We had plenty of space for our son to play games and for our dog to roam around. The staff were 10/10 😊 Everytime we spoke to any of them they were always so helpful. I will be recommending this to everyone.

Second visit but this time found the walks. Think of the site as a vast nature reserve with a caravan site attached and lovely long walks through woods and moorland with wildflowers, birds of prey and deer. Being more used to Caravan Club Certificated Locations we asked in the comments section of the booking to be put as far away from anyone as possible and they did! Very appreciated. In site cafe serves constantly good food and drink at reasonable prices and does takeaway. Pitches are huge.

Stayed at Greenhill for our summer camping trip. The weather was great and location central to activities etc. The campsite is near the railway and on a regular flight path so be ready for some late night/early morning noise!! The facilities were basic and could do with more regular monitoring as the toilets can get quite messy on times. Showers were lovely. The site is very much based on a nature reserve with beautiful walks all around the site. A short walk to a local coop or onsite shop and cafe/bar are reasonable. The food at Loubee's was lovely and a warm welcome on the few evenings we went along..

Lovely week at Greenhill. Taken to our pitch by Tom . Who proved to be our Knight in shinning armour, taking me and my mobolity scooter to the top fishing lake , and returned later to take me for a wee. The whole staff were very kind and helpfull. The site is beautifully clean and tidy . Washroom were spotless. We definitely recommend and we will return . M & M Sept 2024

Lovely people who run the site , very helpful. Pitches need updating very uneven and bumpy. Facilities too far away from some pitches not disability friendly. Huge grassed field near showers where tents pitched with lots of room for more tents but sadly 3-4 tents erected yesterday opposite our pitch (not a problem in itself but,, ) all of the occupants (4 car loads) knew each other and obviously gathered together again not a problem....what was a problem was the fact they must have been under the illusion that being inside the tent was a buffer from the outside world (its not its fabric not brick,) so being kept awake until gone 2am with their collective talking laughing and one male shouting was not amusing. So we left a day early..I don't pay to be kept awake at night. The rest of the stay was very pleasant everyone got along well and very respectful of each orher at night. And,, if you plan to fish, take a trolley for your gear as its a trott like the showers and toilets 😐
