Well, where do we start! What an amazing campsite, we’ve just returned from a 3 day stay and we had such a lovely time. A warm welcome from the owner Scott, who showed us to our pitch, the pitch was a great size and plenty of space between you and pitches either side. The toilets and shower facilities are great, the toilets were always checked regularly, I never once walked in and found them in a mess. There are also phone numbers to call if you do find the toilets in a mess. The showers are lovely, and there is a slightly larger block which is great if you have kids as plenty of hooks for clothes and somewhere safe for them to sit whilst each person showers etc. Scott comes round every day to your pitch where you can buy logs and fresh produce, such a lovely additional extra to make life easier. The farm on site is incredible, open from 9-11 each day, the animals are so lovely and it was something to really look forward to in the mornings to have a look around. Genos coffee and pastry van coming down to the campsite in the mornings selling hot drinks and breakfasts was great and so convenient, we had lovely drinks and food each morning. The campsite is so clean and tidy, and everyone was extremely respectful of each other. The walks around the campsite are lovely, paths well maintained, and we enjoyed a walk down to the local pub The Gun, and the Gun Brewery. We cannot wait to return 11/10

We had such a lovely few days here camping with our two little ones. Great camp site. Friendly owners. The site is well organised and run . Facilties were very clean and tidy . Our kids loved visiting the farm and meeting all the animals. We enjoyed the fire and stargazing in the evenings . Such a lovely experience and family memories made here. Thank you 😊 we will definitely return .

We had a wonderful first camping experience at hale. We were on one of the glamping bell tents. The facilities were amazing so well thought out. Meat, eggs and logs delivered to your door. The rain didn’t dampen our fun and the farm was great for saying hi to the animals in the morning. Thank you Ruth and scott.

What a lovely campsite on our doorstep! It was our daughter’s first camping trip and we decided to stay local in case there were any mishaps. We stayed in the bell tents, equipped with all your needs for glamping, we had our own bathroom which had a shower (purpose built bathroom on skids) and shed with kitchen (washing up equipment and gas powered fridge) All clean on arrival. Scott came around and sold us more logs, bacon, eggs, sausages for us to cook for our breakfast (very delicious) It was so tranquil and beautiful, we had the best first family camping trip and will be back again next year.

We have stayed at Hale Farm 5 or 6 times now and every time it doesn’t disappoint. The pitches are well spaced. We have found the toilets, showers and washing areas always to be clean. There was hot showers which is a must when camping and also a family shower cubicle which was spacious which was especially useful when the kids were smaller. You can visit the farm daily which has a range of animals that are well looked after. Our favourites are the donkey’s! The campsite is well positioned for the beach, country walks, attractions and has two pubs and a brewery all within walking distance. Each pitch has its own fire pit and you can buy wood, sausages, bacon annd eggs on site. When we have been a local coffee and ice cream can visits the site daily. We love it and strongly recommend!
