Lovely staff and great campsite. Right next to the river. At night you can hear the river that helps you relax. We have seen wild local animals and different types of mushrooms that grows in there. The facilities are well maintained and cleaned. There is small shop that you can buy cold drinks, ice cream, essential stuffs that you might need. From there, you can have a walk that takes 40 minutes to 60 minutes, you can visit Vindolanda, Hadrian's Wall, Steel Rigg and Sill.

Cracking site with a great location right next to the river. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff that were always keen to help. Second visit and will definitely be back soon. We love it when we visit a site and there is a familiar face. ( member of staff) Thanks Don & Finagan🐕 for another great stay.👌Lorraine!!!😂

Easter weekend. Within 1hr of pitching up we saw a deer in the woods! Beautiful kept grounds with wild flowers. Pitches well spaced. Toilets clean, hot showers. Everything you would expect from a C&C site. The wardens were lovely, friendly and helpful too. Great location for cycling & walking.

Lovely peaceful dog friendly site in pretty woodland with very friendly wardens. Lovely walks. Plenty of places of interest to visit. amenities clean. Nearest shop Haltwhistle. Would recommend and visit again.

Great site, helpful and friendly wardens. Really chilled and just the place to relax. Pity the woods were closed for walking through so had to work out some detours, but that’s not the sites fault, just life. Had to leave a day early at short notice due to family issue , but hope to be back.
