In comparison to a lot of camping sites, I'd say this is of medium size. It could be seen as a little basic but it has all you need and makes up in many other areas such as, friendly, clean, tidy with food on-site and it's in a good location to visit Herne Bay, plus, it's not far to Whitstable either. It has a good little bar, great staff, and there's a new hall for live music and local acts. Plenty of space for motorhomes, caravans, and tents. There are electric hook-ups, and there is a great feel about the site. I've been there many times over the past few years, and I'll be back for more. It's great for meeting people, family, and friends. I'd recommend Hampton Bay Park.

An excellent experience for first time mobile home owners. We brought our Benimar 482 last week and this was our first trip. We couldn't get our hot water to work, not a problem the shower and toilet facilities were spotless. The whole site was spotless. The bar was an extra advantage. This made our trip less stressful, although it was very stressful learning, but so many people offering advice so thank you all. Thanks Barry and team, see you next year

Great place to go with family in our motorhomes. Lovely site. Owner Barry and his wife Lesley are very welcoming and helpful. Clean site with clean toilets and showers. Food available at weekends in Pitz stop on site. Great atmosphere in bar and club house. Near to beach and bus stop to Whitstable and Canterbury outside camp. Stayed a few times and will definitely be going back time and time again. Would highly recommend.

Came during the summer holidays was meant to be there from friday to Monday . But left on the Sunday, the entertainment put on by the park was not was expected and rather found ourselves going out in the evening more than staying in the park and over the stay was not what we were expecting. Probably wouldn’t come back or recommend, the toilets and toilets were not as clean as expected and was very loud most of the time

Nice peaceful site, adult field and family field with EHU. Visited in September so nice and quiet. Dog friendly. Small pit stop stand at weekends doing burgers, pizza etc, looked good, but didn't try. Small bar and function room with entertainment, simply red tribute and comedy acts. Could take dog into bar. Toilets and showers were dated but cleaned regularly and fine, only two of each so could have to wait when really busy. Owners friendly. 20 min walk to Hampton beach and short drive to Whitstable and Herne bay, and only 30mins to the lovely beaches at Broadstairs. Good value for money and would recommend as base for visiting area.
