This is our second time visiting since having our son and already planning our next visit for next year once our next child is born for our first holiday as a family of 4 ! Caravans spacious, clean and total home comfort (especially important for me this visit as I was pregnant for this visit). Entertainment was fun for our autistic little boy to join in having a great time dancing! Food was delicious and brilliant service !

We arrived in middle of September after six hour journey we were hungry. We went into the boathouse restaurant but unfortunately they stopped serving food at 8:30 so we ended up having a Papa John’s across the road which actually was very nice. We had a gold caravan with a parking space outside, which was handy. When we went into the caravan, we found that the pots and pans are all dirty so luckily we had our own as we brought our camper van with us. Caravan was actually quite comfortable with a comfy bed and two extra bedrooms which we used for our closing. We haven’t gone to the club yet, but it looks very big and very noisy. I will be having a look later. All in all a decent place for families and couples alike.

I had a somewhat up and down experience whilst at Marton Mere however this review is a 5 star because of the customer service we received as a result of the 'downs' on the trip. Kayleigh on reception deserves an award. Best customer service I have ever received and we want to return because we have faith that because of staff like her, we will always be looked after. She's amazing.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, brilliant location to the local area. Great activities on site, mix of swimming, mini golf, ride on carts and much more. The on site laundry is incredibly handy. Caravans are very clean. Would recommend to anyone will return again in the future

Had a week in Blackpool last week in August, Caravan was adequate, we arrived early, van wasn't ready but that was OK. Happy to sit and have a drink. When we got to the van, no phone signal or even 4G. I agree with a previous comment. I paid the extra £200 for me and my daughter for the use of pool etc. Thinking if it rained we could spend a few hours each day in the pool. Not only were we limited to a 1 hr session each per day, it was fully booked bar 1 session we managed.... £200 for 2 of us to swim in a plain pool for 1 hour was the most expensive swim session ever. Was too cold to go outside with the windy conditions. Never imagined I'd have to pre book the pool weeks before arriving! Very dirty communal areas. No lighting in the walkway between the caravans and the communal area. Very loud site well into the early hours. At any camp site it's common to cut noise at about 11pm. People shouting walking past the caravan at 1.30am is not cool. Rip off in the highest degree.
