Ideal for a 1 night quick get away but not too much to do if a family. Park was way pass it and unsafe for kids to play, the shop was like going back into the 1980's and pretty empty, cafe was ok but very limited. The pitch they put us on was definitely not a proper pitch (half was in a bush next to a tree) Nice location though and pitches kept quite well, nice little stream and playing field for kids to play but like said only ideal for 1/2 nights.

Overpriced for what you get. Nice large pitch but looked like a rubbish dumping ground. The warden cleaned it up after it informed her. Chemical disposal unit blocked and I was informed not bieng repaired until winter ???. Gents only had two usable toilets, third one closed???. Will not be back.

We just got back from camping here and have had a great time. Was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews but did not have any issues with permanent residents if they were still there we didn’t know. It was not the quietest but certainly wasn’t bad. The signs here say minimal noise after 11 (not 10 like some campsite’s). We found that this was generally adhered to, friendly site, good facilities showers were lovely. Pitches arn’t huge but lots of space for kids to run and play ball games. Am certainly not put off going back here, 15minutes from Paulton’s our boys (9 and 12) loved the bigger rides as did we, practically no queues in Summer holidays!!!

The caravan park is very nice. The meet and greet was very good. The toilet and shower block are clean and well kept. We could hear the traffic the road, from our pitch. We were upset that dogs were not allowed in the Country Cafe, a little outdated for 2024, so had to sit outside in the cold to eat a really good breakfast.

Spent a week in my caravan here, there is a but, location was great, pitches nice size , toilets clean but dated, cafe on site, didn’t always have a full menu, e.g. asked for iced coffee, no ice, problem was quite a few Irish permanent residents, noisy, load, foul mouthed children, barking dogs, despite signed saying no access before 8 or after 11 , was not true , as quite a lot of traffics out side of those times, icing on the cake, was Saturday night, a few families, including kids in tow, rolled on at 1 o lock in the morning, and proceeded to yell, argue and fight for 2 and 1/2 hrs, one lady in morning had two black eyes. Won’t be back
