Great campsite. The pitches are level, and the facilities are simple but impeccably maintained. The owners were very friendly and happy to share local tips. Even though the campsite was quite busy, it was quiet, and everyone was very respectful. The proximity to hiking trails is a big advantage, and the sunrise over the valley is definitely worth getting up early for.

The perfect campsite. The pitches are flat, the facilities are simple but spotless, and the owners were friendly and full of local advice. The campsite was busy, but quiet - everyone here was very respectful. The site is close to walks and the sunrise over the valley is worth getting up early for.

Beautiful area. Can’t fault the facilities. Simple, affordable and right in the middle of some stunning hikes. The town is full of lovely coffee shops, places to snack and pubs to frequent.

Amazing views, flat pitch and a good location however the staff, facilities and price needs to improve. The staff need to learn how to smile after charging us £35 for a very basic camping experience. 2 toilets, no showers, one washing up tap which was also the only drinking tap which was right next to the chemical waste dump. We were not asking for a “luxury experience” however, for the price I’d like Atleast one hot tap and a warm welcome. We would only return for the views. Nothing else.
