Very friendly helpful staff. Pretty sight. Only one major problem. ( the dustbins are located at the entrance by The Office, and not located throughout the campsite. When bad weather, raining etc this is even more of an inconvenience when you are at the other end of a field) The bins should be located throughout the site for customers convenience. And emptied on a daily basis by the wardens. The caravan and camping club are the only Sites that do not distribute bins throughout the site for customers convenience.

Very friendly owners, showers and toilets extremely clean. Very expensive at £50+ a night for non electric hookup. Lovely woodland walks for the dogs. Italian restaurant about a 40 minute walk away. (great food but expensive @ £123 for 2 people)

This is one of the nicest Caravan & Camping Club sites I have been to. The pitches are arranged around a lake with resident ducks, moorhens and geese. You are either allocated a pitch when the site is busy, or can choose one at quieter times. You could be facing the lake or, if camping, in a shady woodland glade. For motorhomes and caravans there is a variety of hard standing and grass pitches. The site staff are really friendly and helpful. The toilet block is modern and well equipped with showers and a laundry area. My only criticism is that the site could really use a second block in busy periods. In addition to the lake, there is a recreation room with table tennis, easy chairs and books and a children's play area. There are excellent dog walking/general walking trails. The site is not far from Horsley train station. I really hope the CACC own this site as there is a lot of pressure for development nearby and this is a real gem! Recommended!

Loved this site, with a large pond if you fancy fishing, nice and quiet, good for walks, 2 good pubs with 30 - 45 walk away across the open countryside. Also, local cricket ground nearby if you fancy a lazy afternoon. Facilities are very clean

This was our first time using our membership for a two night stay. I found the footprint of the pitches very tight and as I had a driveway awning it would have meant parking along the pitch right on the road, this would have meant looking at the hedge for our duration. The reception and getting you our pitch was handled very well by the team. It is a very nice and secluded site and as my wife had to conclude some work on the laptop which had a deadline we then realised the phone reception was very poor. As she couldn't use the public WiFi we had to leave and not pitch up. A nice clean site but felt because of the pitch sizes and the phone reception I wouldn't be coming back. For its cost I won't be renewing my membership unfortunately.
