Best campsite on the south coast! Been coming here for 4 years with a group of school mates. You’re very much left to go and make your own experience. Pitch where you like, fire pits, music, and not an early silly ‘turn off’ time. Facilities are lovely and the beach is at your doorstep. Will be back for many years to come!

**Review: Disappointing Camping Experience** I recently stayed at this campsite, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. While the tent and the view were acceptable, the state of the toilets and showers was appalling. Despite some reviews claiming they are clean, I found them to be anything but. The toilets lacked a flush, meaning the next person had to deal with the aftermath of the previous user—an absolutely unacceptable situation. The showers were equally dirty, making the entire experience uncomfortable. We originally booked three nights but left after just one due to the poor conditions. The situation could have been somewhat salvageable if we had access to leave the site to use public toilets at night, but this option wasn’t available. The nearest Tesco, where we could find decent facilities, was a 32-minute drive away—hardly convenient. To add to the frustration, we couldn’t even order pizza on the day we were told to because they were too busy. For a campsite, they should be better equipped to accommodate their guests. Overall, I cannot recommend this campsite to anyone who values clean and functional facilities. It was by far the worst camping experience I’ve ever had. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

We've just returned from a 3 night stay, the site and facilities are fab, (often not too sure what people expect when camping looking at other reviews?) All staff were friendly and helpful (even lent us jump leads when van wouldn't start) we were sooo lucky with the weather and fortunate enough to experience no anti social behaviour. Kids could all play safely and had a fantastic community to feel! Views and the beach were spectacular...we'll definitely be returning! Thanks for a great experience ♥️

We arrived on a drizzly Thursday and were allowed to choose where we pitched our tents, which was great as two families traveling together. We had two pup tents for the kids and were told as long as we didn't protrude more than 9m, we could pitch anywhere. After erecting one of our pup tents we were then told we weren't allowed to pitch on the end of our other tents, so they had to be pitched behind our main camp also along the perimeter, luckily the kids were older so it didn't really matter, but was a pain to have to move the tent in the rain! The 9 toilets and 6 showers were sufficient for the number of tents when the perimeter of the site was full, which is was. However, the next day, a Friday, the field proceeded to fill up with small gaps round the perimeter being filled in with smaller tents and every inch of the field being covered with campers! It mainly quietened down by 11ish and staff went round to remind people to be quiet. An extremely large drunk man fell in the bushes behind our tents and then staggered into our camp, seriously scaring our younger and older kids alike. He was so drunk he could barely stand and was convinced our camp was his camp. We eventually managed to move him on after some arguing and swearing on his part, but it rattled everyone, especially the kids! We did call the campsite to report it and to their credit they came out to us to see what was going on, not sure what happened after that but the guy stayed on site for the rest of our stay. The toilets and showers weren't sufficient or cleaned often enough for the number of campers and whilst the compost toilets didn't smell as much as I'd expected them to, it wasn't clear what to do with sanitary products and there was constantly pee all over the seats and ledges. The showers were filthy and the drains blocked with grass. They are button push ones and only stayed on a few seconds. All in all, the site was overcrowded, noisy screaming kids from 5am and the ground was rock hard, almost impossible to hammer in even the rock pegs they sold on site! It's nice and near the beach, but we won't won't back, we prefer quieter sites with less rowdy guests.

We have just returned home from a 2 night stay in a pre-erected tent. The tent was exactly what we needed as was everything that came with it. The site is in an amazing location and the facilities are kept clean and tidy. The people running the site are also very lovely which was just the icing on the cake. Thank you for a fabulous stay!
