After reading through the reviews of this place I felt like I had to leave one myself. I suggest you ignore any 1 star reviews, I have been to this campsite 3 times now over the space of the last 5 years. I have always been met with the friendliest welcome, including one time during COVID where we went into lockdown and had to sadly leave early due to government restrictions, the owners didn't even take any money from us for our stay and were just concerned with us getting home safely (we of course did pay when we got home). The second time I stayed we forgot our levelling blocks for our caravan, nothing was too much trouble for the owners who dug deep in their barns to find us some blocks of wood to help level the caravan. The campsite facilities are perfectly adequate, you have to remember that this is a farm, the campsite is clearly a side venture to help pay for the farm and the facilities are perfectly adequate for what you need, nice hot shower, toilet and washing up facilities. The location of the campsite is by far it's best asset, just a 2 second walk down to the beach. I have tried so many times to get a annual pitch at this site due to the friendliness, the location and the beauty. Sadly the annual pitches are normally all taken but at the first opportunity I will be renting one!

This site is in a great location 5 minutes walk from the beach, the owner are really friendly, the site is super clean and tidy. The toilets and showers spotless, they're are a little dated but are being refurbished at the moment. The site is very dog friendly and its great value for money. We stayed an extra night as we loved it so much. 10/10

If I could leave a zero star rating I definitely would. Campsite offers very little and is hanging on the coat-tails of its superb location, unfortunately that is not enough. Owner is rude and is not very business savvy - seemingly making campsite rules up as she goes along and to suit the mood she is in. The campsite is not run like a business but rather a side venture - thats absolutely fine but lets not pretend otherwise when the mood suits. She isn't very welcoming to paying customers and some of her 'rules' apply to some campers and not others (she has her favourites) Amenities wise - well there isn't any. They have been 'refurbishing' the delapidated male and female toilet/shower blocks for a long time yet nothing looks to have changed. Furthermore, I'm not sure when the two female toilets (that actually work) were last cleaned?! The showers are also filthy and unusable. There are no rubbish bins in and around the campsite, although you could just throw waste in the unsightly skip they have by the exit! Not very enviromentally friendly for those who wish to recycle their rubbish. Campsite lacks any atmosphere and several of the seasonal pitchers are rather unwelcoming. They tend to sit in little cliques, staring at people and are rather unpleasant. I would avoid and spend my money elsewhere.

They were the only site on Gower who had vacancies and would let us stay very short notice for 1 night (Saturday night mid august). We had a roof tent and had a paddock to ourselves. Bit of a slope but lovely view over the bay. Lovely Beach is 10 minute walk away. £25 non EHU£ 28 EHU. Site owner was really friendly and had a good natter. Toilets clean. Big shower and toilet room combined. Toilets and showers are undergoing modernisation and more being built. I would def come back here again. Most of the site is caravans and it is a fairly narrow road to the site. There is a pub (Britannia inn) within walking distance. The site was lovely and peaceful.

We've been coming here for the last 13 years and it's a wonderful spot! Yes the owners are a bit quirky, yes they are fairly strict (which is mostly a good thing) yes the toilets and showers are basic but mostly clean. The shop and takeaway is very good, but bear in mind it's a farm and not a superstore! The beach is probably one of the longest and best in the UK and very quiet great for beach games, swimming, fishing, everything really. Anyway you have to remember this is real camping, as it should be, super relaxing, best sunsets around. We'll be going for ever. Ive come back to this review as unfortunately the site closed a few yeaes ago. Sad.
