Overall Thoughts
Loch Chon Campsite presents a fantastic opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the simplicity of nature. The site is beautifully maintained with excellent facilities but lacks showers. It's perfect for those looking to enjoy a back-to-nature weekend. Despite minor drawbacks like mobile signal issues and occasional noise, its stunning setting and friendly atmosphere make it well worth visiting.

I can't really give stars for rooms when it's a campsite. The layout is amazing so tents are staggered around, you have more privacy than all being lumped in a field together. Every space is close to the loch, and in the woods, so its a beautiful spot to spend time in. The only thing that I feel it needs is showers.

Great campsite. Own car park, tent pitches leveled, provided with fire bowls. Fire Wood can be bought on the campsite. Toilets are clean, there's also tap with drinking water and sink for washing the dishes.

This was my first solo camping trip. If you are on 02 network then there is no signal at all at the site. It’s a good 5miles towards Aberfoyle when it kicks back in, or about a mile up the road. The campsite was noisy at night, but that was due to the other campers not the location. The road settled later at night. There are toilets and running drinking water and washing facilities. Be careful which pitch you book at there are platforms with chains if it’s windy and you have a small tent this might not be ideal. Good access to the loch for wild swimming.

Beautiful place with amazing views! All the rangers were very nice, friendly and helpful. The pitches are lovely however are less far away from each other as you could think looking at the map. Pitch 3 has a perfect view on the loch. You can also launch your canoë from here! The place itself is very quiet and well maintained with clean toilets. A family/group area would be nice so other campers can enjoy the calm and peace of the place. We will surely come back and also try the other campsites managed by them!

Excellent pitches set in and around the woodland shores of loch Chon. Couldn't recommend highly enough. There are well maintained and clean toilets, sinks and drinking water. Excellent choice for a back to nature weekend
