I recently stayed at [Caravan Park Name] from July 29th to July 30th, 2024, and had a very disappointing experience. The main reason for booking a night here was to use the swimming pool with my two young children, aged 6 and 4. However, upon arrival, I was told we needed to book the pool in advance—something that was never mentioned on the website. Even though the pool was nearly empty, they wouldn't let my kids in, not even for 10 minutes. The lack of clear communication and misleading information about the pool is unacceptable. It felt like false advertising and a breach of the Consumer Rights Act. The entire experience left a negative impression, especially since it disrupted our trip to Wales. I would not recommend this place, especially if you're looking forward to using the advertised amenities.

Lovely quiet site we stayed in a tent. Staff friendly in reception. We went swimming in the pool (2 people) didn’t realise we had to book swimming there wasn’t to many people in the pool but was told to get out of the pool I think for the amount of money paid for 3 nights (£195) the swimming without booking should of been overlooked we was leaving the next day so didn’t get to use the facility. There’s a little cafe on site but sthere was 3 different families in our group and we all ordered the same for £10 some got 2 bacon 2sausage bpud beans 1 toast egg fresh tomato and mini hash browns, when others ordered exactly the same paid exactly the same they got 1 sausage 1 bacon if they had run out of stuff surly the price should of been lowered. Toilets was clean showers was also clean only thing with shower cubicle is the water comes through and soaks clothes on the bench and hung up. Water was lovely and hot. We would definitely come back. Crockytrail down the road is a plus.

Another stay at the Manor Wood House on Manor Wood County Park and as ever, amazing. Staff and facilities are always exceptional and the house is beautiful. We have stayed a few times with our 5 children ages 3 to 13 and have so many memories made. The pool, tennis court, cricket football, pool table table tennis and the games in the house for rainy days!! Kids love the park with sand so it pleases everyone who misses the beach!! We caught lots of carp and smaller fish in the fishing right outside the back door. Beautiful all round and we can't wait to get back in Aug...a hour from our home and it seems another world. X

We are from Ireland we did a tour around the uk stayed in numerous campsites none had any issues with our 2004 camper. We drove 3 hours and 54 mins to manor wood campsite with our 9 year old son we were all tired and looking forward to relaxing , as we arrived I found the First Lady extremely nice and friendly , but then the Second Lady had such an issue with our camper van apparently a camper van like it is not allowed on the campsite so what kind of camper is acceptable? I feel extremely embarrassed and upset to be treated this way , I really hope if you ever visit Ireland you don’t be humiliated like this. I hope you have a better day than us .
