I booked a caravan, and two pitches for entire family to celebrate my brothers 50th. We had a few issues to begin with, entirely my fault. MDL went above and beyond to ensure I left happy and satisfied. It is a great park, small and quiet. Toilet and shower block are the best I've been too. The marina bar/restaurant is lovely, staff are friendly and great. Our grandson loves the cheesy garlic bread. Would highly recommend- if booking a caravan, double check your details of who's staying first! We did leave early, but only because one dog ended up at emergency vet, during the first few days we were told our landlord was selling our house and we had six weeks to move! And then my grandson choked on his bacon at the nearby cafe!! He's OK now! We just felt unable to relax! 😂

Excellent camp site. Very clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Mobile homes, tents caravans and motorhomes all here. Electric and water available. Shower block with laundry facilities, iron, washing up area and toilets all accessible 24/7 heated and clean. Chemical toilet disposal area. Nice and peaceful. Everything was quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend it.

We are 2 nights in out of our 3 nights and we could not be happier with the location, the cleanliness and especially the service! Everything is fantastic even though last night was a freezing one. I am not fan of camping but this place made me consider it more. Definitely happy to recommend!

I just stayed for 5 nights in my motorhome, it was lovely and peaceful the toilet and shower facilities were spotlessly clean. It's dog friendly too which my hound was happy with. I cycled into Hamble and popped into a couple of cosy village pubs where there is a little co-op supermarket or in the other direction was a fantastic fish and chip shop on Hamble Lane and then a but further on is a massive tesco extra superstore. I will definitely return 😊

Caravan B3 very very clean apart from kitchen blind which was filthy. Quiet most of time. Annoying work parties leaving every day 6am. Even though stated on Hoseasons work parties and work vans were not allowed. Suitably equipped caravan. Very warm. No faults there. Noisy en-suite radiator. Ideally situated for Southampton City centre. Would be noisy if other guests children playing on grass outside caravans. Did not like layout or limited parking spaces. Clean park. Night warden during peak season. WiFi awful. Radiator in double bedroom needs bleeding. Light in small toilet does not work. Broken pair of safety scissors. Touring area looks very good though. Friendly staff. The Gaff Rigger menu looks wonderful. Probably would not stay here again.
