Paul couldn’t do enough for us. He and his mum and dad made us all very welcome. This is a family run business. A great site and the dogs had so much fun too.. It has a really great shower and toilet facilities. I would highly recommend Merlin Campsite. It’s quiet too. Only 2 fields so it’s lovely and small and was great for our party x

Fantastic site in a beautiful location. Pitches are at the bottom of a field in a secluded spot. There is a drinking water tap and waste disposal point, as well as a toilet and hot shower, both very clean. We stayed here as we went for BBC Radio 1's big weekend in Luton. The owner, Paul was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay even better. There is a pub which serves food only 600 yards down the road, The Farmer's Boy. We went on Sunday but they were busy and we didn't have a reservation, however the food looked good and had a decent sized beer garden. We drove a few minutes up the opposite direction and went to the Old Hunter's Lodge and were very impressed with the food. We will definitely be returning with our little one to stay again and visit the nearby zoo and explore the stunning Dunstable Downs.

A basic site, toilet and shower were tardis type setups only disadvantage is you need a friend to push the shower button a second time if washing long hair. Staff were friendly and helpful a pleasant site close to the zoo and the downs
