We emailed last minute to camp the next day and they accommodated us with no problem. £20 without electricity £23with seemed like a steal, especially when our tent pole snapped in half and Billy helped us out. Finding a new pole and cutting it into shape. He made sure the tent was still standing in the morning and let us keep the pole. Our neighbours were also very friendly and helpful. There’s a pub a short walk down the road and close to the park and ride. The toilets were really nice and clean. The shower looked good. There was a drinking tap outside the facilities and a capacious bin. 100% will stay here again. And there was a goose on the roof :)

This is wonderfully quaint campsite. I love the size…not loads of people everywhere. It’s great! A short walk to the river. Plenty of places to walk the dog off site. …and a short drive to York!

We've stayed here for 2 nights and it was the first days of our trip. We arrived earlier than planned but they welcomed us anyway and we quickly seddled in. It's such a beautiful place, quiet and peaceful. The wash house is small but always extremely clean And there is a free hair dryer as well. We loved staying here and would definitely come back again. Thank you very much for the great stay!

We have spent a great time here. The campsite is in a quiet location and everything is very clean and well maintained. The owners are very warm and welcoming people. The perfect place to relax. We would love to come here again.

Gorgeous little camp site. We stayed for two nights and loved it. Its got the basic amenities that you need. Only 15 mins from the centre of york. Lovely pub 5 mins walk away by the canal called the ship inn. The owners and the other campers who stay long term were all very nice and really helpful with local knowledge 👍
