Booked this last minute pitch as first time campers, we were not disappointed and we were welcomed by the lovely owner who showed us around and offered her support with the tent. We hired a firepit with wood at a decent price. The campsite was quiet and the view was beautiful. We ended our stay with feeding the gorgeous horse along with Joey and the other fellow donkeys carrots and apples. We will definitely be staying again Thankyou to the owners for being amazing and having us!

This is a great place. Beautiful part of the country. Very handy for Alton Towers, southern peak district etc. This is a smallholding farm with donkeys , horses , goats, chickens, pigs and cats. Several beautifully converted glamper vans / railway carriages with wood burning stoves. Electric hookups for vehicles etc All amenities you need. Bill and Emily are wonderful friendly hosts. Perfect for families, small groups, travelling musicians, artists, anyone who likes there camping relaxed , friendly and loves a firepit. There are indoor communal areas which are perfect for gatherings or even musical / theatrical events. Wonderful for a mini music festival perhaps? They also have what can only be described as a private museum of incredible things, from rare tractor parts to Victorian toys. 360 degree panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. My two year old loved it here, meeting and feeding the animals, sitting on the old fairground ride parts that decorate the place, and running round freely chasing cats. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends.

Wonderful campsite, fantastic location. Very quirky and interesting. Emily and Billy are great hosts and very helpful. There are fire pits to hire and wood to buy. The showed and toilets are clean. Sunsets are to die for.

Stayed this weekend for a friend's surprise birthday gathering. Fantastic place in a stunning location. Huts are comfortable and cosy (log burners in the huts with logs provided). Hosts are absolutely lovely people who made us all so welcome and really went out of their way to make the surprise a success. Honestly can't say enough about how friendly and helpful they both are. Emily and Whizz, thank you! Would definitely go back and definitely recommend a visit.
