An amazing place to spend a day out in the car or a few days in the campsite. Plenty of activities like golf and dry ski slope. Great nature trails and of course, the beach. There is plenty of parking and loads of toilets and the visitor centre serves good food and drinks. If you want a relaxing day or stay I recommend Pembrey country park.

A wonderful three days spent at Pembrey Park. Spacious large pitches, grass, and hardstanding set amongst mature shrubs and trees. We were sited on a hardstanding pitch, which was very level and near the facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly. The facilities were very clean, some which are just about to have an update next month. An abundance of Dog walks immediately off site, whether it be through forestry, open fields, or the beach. The surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and in the few days that we enjoyed here, the sunsets were spectacular. A paradise for wildlife and nature enthusiasts, within the site and Pembrey Country Park. A large section of the beach has been allocated to enable walks with your dog's, all year round, this is approximately a one mile walk but well worth the effort, you can park nearer the beach in one of the allocated car parks at a cost. This was our first time visiting this site and it certainly didn't disappoint us, we will certainly be back next season to explore more.

Our 5 Yr old grandson asked if we could have a family day at Pembrey, as it was 2 years since we last visited and he was not disappointed. We arrived after a long journey and found the parking area about half full. Please don't be fooled, arrive early during the summer holidays, as it is a very popular attraction. You will understand why once you have parked your car. Loading our cart, we set off for the beach, passing the narrow gauge railway, past a cafe and toilets, past the coastguard station and out across the sand. The beach is nearly seven miles wide and if the tide is out, almost a mile to the waters edge as it is very shallow. However, as we found out on our first trip, the tide sweeps in very fast so take heed and watch where the coast guard vehicles are parked. Times passes by, like the tide, the peace only shattered by flocks of birds and people having fun. You can walk for as far as you want in either direction. A shower is available for humans and canines to remove the sand when returning to your vehicles. There is another cafe and children's play area near the camping site. For more information about what other activities are on offer, may I suggest to search the Pembrey Country Park website. This Park is a great place to allow your dog/s to exercise, remember to keep them on leads through the parking area. All in all, a fantastic day out and great value at £8.00 for all day parking. If you like milk shakes, there is a new vending machine offering various flavours, with the milk supplied locally.

Fabulous site. Great staff. More than enough spaces and even though its busy, because of the way the pitches are set out, it feels like a more intimate site. Obviously having the park next to us and the huge and wonderful beach is a bonus. Lots to do in the park too.

Country park is great, you won't be short of walks there's plenty, beach is huge, plenty for kids in season still a few things for them out of season, if stopping in the area (camping for example) take plenty of food as there's no shops within 2-3 miles (burry port being the closest) just spent 2 weeks there great.
