We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was in a perfect location, right near the water and minutes walk away from the city centre. The train station is just across the road, and so is the V&A museum. There's a supermarket inside the train station too. Felt like a very safe area.Plenty of places to eat, shop, and explore. Enjoyed the restaurant downstairs for dinner one night and breakfast before we left. The room was clean, fresh towels, and a very comfortable bed.

The bed has a comfortable mattress, the duvet was too thick and ended up using the mattress sheet. Friendly staff and great location. Lovely view when the sky is clear over the river. Ventilation can be quite noisy randomly throughout the night. Didn't use the Restaurant or Breakfast deal.

Brilliant location. Service absymal. They save money by not service one's room if staying for more than one night. Unless requested but still charge £130 per night! And they don't clean and make up the room even when requested, twice. Asking the night before it was too early apparently. So I asked first thing in the morning but still they did not make my room up - must have lost the scrap of paper on which they noted my room number. When I got back and asked why they had not they said hard luck as housekeepers were no longer available. It took a lot of persistence before the front desk person agreed to straighten the bed and leave me some clean towels whilst I went out for dinner. Perghaps I am being too fussy expecting £130 to buy me a decent room and good service. Premier inn used to be good, not any more.

Best mediocre and cheap. Very interesting approach to room service. You have to ask for your room to be serviced which we did on each of the four mornings of our day. On the first day nothing was done the second day the bed was made. Towels were replaced and the coffee cups were washed and replaced. On the third day we got clean towels and one of our two coffee cups was replaced roundabout, with the other one being left full of the drugs of our previous cup of tea! Clearly not been washed as we had tipped out a cup of tea into it and although we had swished it round with water, there were drops of coffee around it. Not cleaned. Bed not made. The shower gel had never been topped up all week and it was empty all week. But I reported all of this to the receptionist this morning, she said she would make a note of it and feed it back to whoever. She did however ask me why I haven’t reported that last night. It would’ve been somewhat ineffectual to do so as we were going to bed! I have to add that my travelling companions, for other couples, also experienced all of the above and in some cases had never had their bed made all week! I know it’s not difficult, but it is a hotel after all!

Amazing location right next to the V&A gallery. If you get lucky with your room you get a view over the river (almost like you're in a cruise ship cabin!). Friendly helpful staff. Adds up to a great stay.
