You have to ask to get your room cleaned or it just doesn't get cleaned even if you are paying over 100 pound a night If you need a fresh towel you have to go to reception to get one they don't come into your room which I find strange. Also don't take a ground floor room you will hear every footstep the person above makes. It's quite isolated if you don't drive as its on a dual carriageway. Nice spacious rooms though and you get a good night sleep as long as no one is above your room. The facilities in the room are more than adequate.

I stay here regularly, although the rooms are a little dated but they are spotless. The service at reception is outstanding! Nothing is a problem. Food is standard premier inn , so no complaints. Again the service in the restaurant is excellent!

This is our second stay. A nice hotel. Staff very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Room was clean. Well worth getting the meal deal and booking the restaurant on arrival.

Are minus stars possible??? Service was so slow, It took 1.3 hrs to check in, But could have did it immediately for extra money 🙈 Was told to sit in restaurant while we waited to be checked in, the server in restraint said we shouldn’t have sat down, I had to push to be served at all, Crazy way to deal with public, The manager was SO rude after I had 1 towel in a double room and requested another, Other staff didnt help at all! 6/7 times were disturbed in the AM by 1 MEMBER OF STAFF WALKING RIGHT IN THE ROOM WITHOUT EVEN A KNOCK!!!! Checkout time was confirmed AFTER SAID TIME HAD PASSED and when I told manager we had been told zero info about this, she was very argumentative, saying I shouldn’t assume any time, INDEED! WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED AT CHECK IN OBVIOUSLY, but that was done by 2 diff staff so they need training for sure!!!! Reiterated that the Manager was VERY VERY rude and super argumentative! I left feeling so anxious and frustrated at the service, this just is not right!!! Will never return to ANY premier inn after this absolute horrible stay! And this Dundee west also have ‘sorry signage up apologising for work being done’, BUT no discount and the Most basic room for £129 for less than 20 hrs stay, So without enough towels or any shampoo or even a tissue to use, also no connection to receptionist! Nothing but horrible service and not so nice staff, BAD STAY I’d have rather slept in the car!!!

Great night's sleep, clean spacious room. Very welcoming front desk staff. Love the Premier Inn brand, always consistently good & have never disappointed. Would happily recommend a stay at Dundee West hotel.
