Left stranded with 2 kids by a hotel booking gone wrong and a trip to the hospital we scrambled together a tent, bare essentials and booked a pitch here. Drove to what seemed to be the middle of nowhere we turned up at 5am, pitched up and it’s the best thing we ever did. When we woke up it was so peaceful and bare minimum there, I loved the outdoor makeshift shower. The owner couldn’t be more helpful, a genuine guy that just wants to help people in need. Provided us with a cooker, chairs, table, so we stayed another night and to be honest we would’ve stayed longer and paid more. 10/10 we will be back.

Was a great place, we stayed for a night and felt very welcome and may I add, it was the most quite and peaceful campsite I have ever been to.

Great little site for peace and quiet down a narrow lane but worth the trip. Derek the owner very helpful and friendly will be back here again
