Beautiful park with a vast range of trees, bushes and flowers. Great playing areas for the kids. I sat on a bench by the lake. A huge manmade lake which is stunning. This was enhanced by me having a cool drink from the cafe and watching the folk on Pedalos on the lake. I barely walked in much of the park due to my leg disability but it is such a stunning park and I will visit again when I'm next in Wales.

Amazing park. Has a massive kids playground with the "huge slide" as my daughter called it, lots of fan for kids. The walk the lake is brilliant, we were able to see almost all the species they show on the info, apart from 3. Lots of parking around it and easy enough to get. This will be a place to to return multi times

One of the best places to spend some time with lil ones in cardiff. There is a nice walk around the lake and has a considerably big kids play area. Boats are available to hire . Park has a cafe and ice cream van

Massive park full of history a great boating lake a park for the kids and plenty of seats to just watch the wildlife good day out took our own picnic kids loved it

Huge park!! Peaceful and lot's of wildlife, a dragonfly and hawk moth landed on us. 15 minutes from heath high level
