Salhouse broad is such a beautiful place. It's a gentle walk down from the car park, either path or boardwalk. You can get a nice coffee and it would be a great place for a picnic. We didn't hire canoes, maybe next time. Sad that the boat doesn't run over to the nature reserve anymore, but it's still a great place to spend a few hours.

A beautiful location to moor and explore on the Norfolk Broads. Ideal for those who like water sports or wish to just soak up the nature. Only downside is that there is a relatively expensive mooring fee - £12 overnight.

I thought this might be a nice outing for my mum and our dogs although mum is in a wheelchair a boardwalk sounded ideal. Unfortunately the pathway to the boardwalk is not in the least bit wheelchair friendly! On reaching the boardwalk there was only about 50 yards accessible due to repairs. It was disappointing. However the peacefulness and just watching the ducks and the water was very relaxing and definitely somewhere I would visit - but not with a wheelchair 🦮🦮🐾🦆

Took dog for a walk around the broads. Several spots where she could have a swim. Nice little coffee wagon on site serving all drinks and snacks, very good price. Lovely walk around broads with pathways should it get muddyp
