We were 3 families got together in the holiday park. We took gold plus caravan for 4 nights and platinum for 1 night. It was very good experience and all good facilities. Swimming obviously has entry every hour and you need to wait at the queue. You need to carry tokens everywhere you go. Service at reception was mixed. One girl has kindly accepted our request to extend only one day. Other staff were helpful but rude and of fake smiles. Overall our experience was good and it was good family time.

Came home today after a 4 night stay at Sand Le Mere. Cannot fault the place. Very clean, tidy site. Great location. Reasonable prices. Staff are amazing, spoke to a few different people, Crazy Crew (kids entertainment), reception staff, bar staff, cleaners, arcade staff, lifeguards and everyone was so friendly and polite, made our family feel welcome. We have used another holiday company for the last 12 years (recently had a very bad experience with them and complaint ignored), been looking for somewhere else to stay and came across here; this is the first visit to a Park Holiday resort and we have already booked to return next year. Thank you for a brilliant few days away.

*Touring caravan review* Has potential to be a good site, but let down by some of the basics. Showers for tourers and clamping pods were absolutely scolding hot and are a huge risk to children, the disabled or those with some medical conditions. Even the Unisex ones are the same, if not worse. This needs addressing before someone is seriously hurt. Thankfully, we could use the shower in our caravan. Confusing and frustrating for touring owners on arrival. I, and a few others I saw, made the mistake of following the reception signs and turning right into the car park with the caravan attached. I'd advise anyone arriving to head straight to the touring area using Google Maps, then walk down to reception to check in as there's nowhere to pull up with the caravan. Signage up to the touring area is non-existent until you've already found it. Toilet roll availability is hit and miss. No hand soap in the toilets for the whole duration of our stay. The showers at the pool are freezing cold, and most didn't even work. Touring park area is close to the complex, and some guests might find the loud music disruptive. Grey water waste disposal isn't at ground level and required lifting a foot off the ground, some guest will find this difficult, most of the waste leaked out the base on to the grass area anyway as it wasn't secure/sealed. The pool was OK. Pizzas were nice. Some staff were friendly, and some were a bit abrupt. Soft play was decent. Hard standing touring pitches were decent and well kept.

Love the location not the same as it was since being taken over by park holidays. Was taken by surprise at having to buy entertainment cards just to use the facilities and kids stuff that was £95 before we even started food expensive but nice drinks expensive. Everything about the place is about making a quick buck. The staff are very nice but exhausted one of them told me he'd just worked a 14 hour shift and the soft play for the little kids was ruined by teenagers in there telling them they couldn't come in and kicking them we were told by security they couldn't do anything only tell them to come out. The whole place seems understaffed and the ones that are there are worked to the bone. We made the best of things but overall was disappointed and probably won't go again.

Terrible service on reception. We walked in and said that we were booking in with a caravan. She said you can’t until 4pm. We said oh we thought it was after midday. She said oh so you have a tourer not a caravan. Sorry that we dont use your correct in house language. Not a nice welcome. She gave us our pitch number and someone else was already using. We had to go to another one. We were kept awake until 4am with two families laughing and swearing and shouting. Place is very run down and attracts a different calibre of holidaymakers. Toilet and shower facilities have a 70’s vibe. In need of a serious upgrade. I would definitely not go back to this place. Even the dog was disgusted. We left after one night not wanting to spend the next two nights in this place!
