Stayed in our friends touring caravan, which has a seasonal pitch. Although we had heavy rain the site was not overly waterlogged and like others I was so impressed by the shower block (cleanliness, power of shower and warmth of water). Easy access on foot to beaches and the main town and can get further afield by car or indeed bus (direct route to Chichester train station). All in all a very pleasant stay and experience, we will be back 👍

Amazing camping site, facilities are good, with a great park for the kids. It's very close to the village, meaning you can walk in and to the beach. The local shops are great. We really enjoyed coming here

This is an excellent site perfectly positioned between east and west wittering. £39 a night. Excellent park, hot showers. Clean The only thing that let it down was that I was not allowed to have a tiny storage tent as they wanted to charge me another £39 for it (tent cost £20) which is just daft on a 40 acre site and greedy.

We were two families having a local one night away. We have tried other campsites in the Witterings area and they never seem to disappoint until now. It was a beautiful weekend and the campsite was full which you would expect and that wasn't the issue the issue was the cleanliness of the facilities. The showers are not user friendly they have one hook on the back of the door meaning you don't have anywhere to hang your towel, clothes etc. The floors were horrible, hair and dirt everywhere. The toilets were not kept on top of either. And whilst I know they have a responsibilities of cleaning, people on the site should do better at flushing and ensuring toilet paper is picked up The last thing that annoyed me was the fact that I have a campervan and haven't had my awning fitted yet so had to put up a small 4 man tent to store our stuff. If I had an awning it would have been an extra £5. However due to it being a tent I was charged again for a second pitch. There was campervans with awning which were 3 times the size of my tent. Gutted as the kids enjoyed the park and the everyone enjoyed the pizza in site and we are always heading to Witterings but we will continue to stick to the others moving forward.

The facilities were faultless, but the place is devoid of character, just a vastness of perfect grass. And expensive! £35 to pitch my own tent, without power. At check in I asked if I could charge my phone in the toilet, I was told “no, we don’t like that”. (I did it anyway). Within 10 minutes of pitching my tent I had a lad in a buggy checking because I hadn’t displayed my tent sticker. I read a few reviews about other silly rules, not a very relaxing atmosphere.
