Very well kept site. Very good facilities and kept clean. We enjoyed the heritage tour, and saw parakeets, nuthatch, woodpecker, and dear. And a very Tame fox that had the scent of some jaffa cakes left in a tent. Excellent wood supplie but this may differ when the site is busier as we were the only group camping on this side of the site.

Good campsite, plenty of space and fantastic modern camping buildings. Only downside was the substandard catering. But it is possible to bring your own. Worth a visit if you are into scouting.
