Spent two nights camping with my 5 year old grandson who said it was a hundred out of five. I'm inclined to agree. Friendly, clean, welcoming, quiet site, lots of places to visit nearby especially if you enjoy nature. Pitches were clean, level and spacious. Water supply near each pitch. Washing machine and dryer, a fridge freezer and small shop on-site. Will happily return, hopefully for longer next time.

We’ve just come away from a lovely short break at Shays farm and can honestly say it’s the best site we’ve stayed at. Well kept and large pitches. Lots of areas for the children to play, including a park and football pitch. The facilities are really functional and well kept. The food can on Friday was delicious and the kids sports day was ace. Special thanks to Sam and Caz.

We live locally and, as first-time caravan owners, wanted to test everything out. We decided to spend the weekend at a nearby pitch, and it was a great choice. Sam, the warden, was fantastic—extremely helpful and knowledgeable, especially for a pair of complete novices like us! The toilets and shower areas are impeccably clean at all times. My wife, who is very particular about cleanliness, couldn’t find a single fault. The campsite itself is quiet with plenty of room at the far end. They have reasonably priced catering trucks come to site, mainly on Fridays, an excellent kids’ park and play area, and a well-maintained, fenced-off section for dogs. We couldn’t find any faults, even if we tried. What started as a test run has turned this campsite into a place we’ll definitely visit regularly throughout the year!

Camped over recently for a women's wellbeing festival. Friendly and helpful site. Clean facilities and as an anxious first-time solo camper, it was a perfect site. Felt safe, clean facilities and good catering for the evening and breakfast for the Saturday morning. Thank you. Will stay again soon. 😊

Third time here and wont be last. Everything you need for camping. Excellent clean facilities, clear and consistent campsite rules applied, pub with great food a short walk, fishing, shop, play area and football pitch for the kids, wifi, electric, water near every pitch.
