The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The location was amazing, woke up to the sea outside our window. The campsite shop had everything we needed and the facilities were lovely and big enough to facilitate all the campers. Would definitely return.

A gem of a location. Minutes from the beach and the village (2 x pubs, 2 x cafes selling ice cream and fish and chips to eat in and take away). The shower blocks were immaculate and regularly checked. I preferred the 2pm-4pm closure for cleaning (most other sites we visit close for cleaning 10am - 12pm). The on site shop has just about everything you could need including groceries, camping accessories, beach items for kids and a range of ice cream and alcohol. The local ice cream van came on site around 5pm and was really popular. Staff were really friendly and stopped to chat or waved as they went by. I did see site staff speak to two separate campers, who had contravened site rules, but this was done in a fair and respectful way. The rules are made clear prior to booking and a paper copy is given to visitors upon arrival. Would definitely recommend this site (except that it might get so busy there's not a space when I want to return!).

After reading some interesting reviews on here we were a little apprehensive about going ahead with our camping trip, but we went with it! We are so glad we booked this camp site - the location is perfect, as soon as we arrived there were friendly smiles that welcomed us and we're on hand if we needed anything. The camp site is well kept, the toilets and shower blocks were great (showers were lovely and warm) and regularly cleaned. The weather over the weekend was great so we enjoyed chips from the local chip shop on site, BBQ on the beach and the children loved running around enjoying the freedom and it also felt safe for them to do so. We were very much gutted to be leaving but look forward to visiting again really soon :) thank you Skysea!

This is easily the best run and cleanest site I've ever stayed on. The showers and loos look like they've just been cleaned all the time. Friendly and helpful staff, calm site - family and dog friendly. Very short, even walk to the beach. My favourite place to stay on the Gower.
