About This Campsite

Solent Breezes Holiday Park

Welcome to Solent Breezes Holiday Park, a tranquil location that offers a mix of stunning views and peaceful surroundings. Situated ideally for those looking to escape to a quieter, coastal retreat, this park provides both accommodations and leisure facilities to enhance your holiday experience. It's best known for being a point of interest for RV travelers and those looking for lodging amid natural beauty.

Facilities & Features

  • Accommodations: The park offers various accommodation options including caravan-style homes fully equipped with living rooms, kitchens, and more, providing a home-like atmosphere with conveniences like a heater, stove, and microwave.
  • Amenities: There's a swimming pool available, but be aware that it's necessary to book a time slot.
  • Club House & Entertainment: Evening entertainment is available, though the clubhouse opens late in the day, at around 4 PM.
  • Shopping: A very small shop is on site with limited options, so it's advisable to plan accordingly for your needs.

Important Considerations

While some guests have found the park to be well-kept and quiet—ideal for families with young children—others have experienced challenges, particularly with policies and staff communication. The park’s remote location means it may not offer conveniences like nearby shops or a full-service reception during all hours.

Overall Thoughts

Solent Breezes Holiday Park seems to offer a peaceful setting with basic yet charming facilities suitable for a relaxed getaway. However, it is crucial to manage expectations regarding available amenities and ensure clear communications on policies during your stay. While some guests have appreciated the tranquility and facilities, experiences can vary, so being prepared can significantly enhance your visit.

Disgraceful place and outrageous racism! This is not our first time here, but it will definitely, 100% be the last! Because 0 points on Google Maps is impossible, so it's 1 point! We booked two RVs a month in advance and called several times to confirm whether we could use the area behind the bar facing the sea. The answer was "of course we can use it, it's a public area, anyone can use it, no reservation is required, first come first served". I also checked with them whether we could eat our own food, and the answer was yes. So we were very excited to prepare our own food. However, when we arrived there after several hours of driving, the nightmare began... We ate some of our own food in the so-called "public area" behind the bar, and then a white woman in a blue uniform who claimed to be the manager, her name was Dianne cooper, very rudely told us that this was the bar area and we were not allowed to eat our own food. When we confidently told her that we had called their company a month ago and got confirmation, this seemed to provoke her and she screamed at us and threatened to cancel our reservation if we didn't leave the area immediately. Her shouting scared the kids in our group. We were very angry but we told her very calmly that if we were not welcome here, we could leave the area, no problem, please be calm and kind. Obviously, she didn't pay attention to our words and just continued to shout, staring at us with her rude and fierce eyes until we left. If the company's policy has changed, she could have told us politely instead of shouting at everyone! When it came to check-in, it was even crazier. We had booked beds for 14 people in total. Although there were more than 14 people here, the so-called manager Dianne cooper questioned us when we first arrived (before 12 o'clock) and warned us that we were not allowed to stay more than 14 people, otherwise there would be serious consequences. We were fine with this because we had already planned and told her that most of our group would leave that night and there would never be more than 14 people staying overnight. However, at check-in, the rude lady mentioned the incident again and threatened to check our room and the number of people at night, and threatened us that if the number of people staying exceeded 14, we would be in big trouble. Well, I understand the lady's thoughts, but we absolutely cannot accept this interrogation-like attitude. After a nightmare day, we chose to end early and leave this place because we suffered extremely unfair treatment and unimaginable mental stress here. We are here for vacation, we hope to have fun here, not be rudely scolded! Absolutely, certainly, it is impossible to choose here again, let alone recommend it to others! Stay away from here...

Very enjoyable stay with grandchildren lovely pool and clubhouse. Staff were all great. Evening entertainment really good. Unfortunately no children's entertainment, which was fine as long as you're not expecting it. Lovely well kept site and really quiet, the little ones enjoyed the small park.

This place should never be advertised as a holiday park, the “shop” is the reception “shed” which only had very very basic items for sale and didn’t even provide newspapers. We feel that we’ve been robbed ( £263.00 ) to basically sleep in a caravan in the middle of nowhere with absolutely nothing to do for four days even the bar was closed until evening.

Caravan styled house is very pretty. The interior is excellent. We had a living room , dining area, kitchen complete with utensils, fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster. We had 2 bedrooms, full T&B and a toilet, nice running water, heater. Cant ask for more
