What a lovely little site, pitch sizes were of a good size although some were bigger than others love the fact that each pitch has its own water tap, very clean site and decent toilet and shower block. We had a lovely stay here and I would stay here again, site has everything you need and owners were very welcoming. Our pitch was located just by the site entrance and there was constant traffic noise throughout the whole night which was a bit of a pain but wouldn't put me off coming again.

What an excellent find this campsite is. Really good sized pitches which are well maintained and flat with their own water supply. The toilet and shower block are lovely and clean, good size shower with plenty of hot water. Superb friendly site staff, who are very welcoming. The site is kept lovely with a mix of mowed grass on the pitches and pathways and areas of wild flowers and grasses. It’s very peaceful with beautiful views. It is within walking distance of pubs and a shop. Will definitely be visiting again.

Loved the whole experience from booking to leaving. Everything was clean and well maintained including the communal areas and the grounds. Super friendly and welcoming hosts Paul and Sharon, couldn't do enough and nothing was too much trouble. They maintained their presence and always easy to find. Travelled as a parent with 2 older adult children and 1 five year old first time camper. We all loved it. Very conveniently located close to amenities and attractions but felt quiet and remote as the views are only of the lovely country side. Little one loved the play area and made friends and played with other children. The fairy lights made it magical and the sensor lights made it safe to walk around in the the dark. Very safe as entrance and exit is gated. Would stay again.

This place is quite simply an outstanding site. We were greeted by a beautiful couple, they couldn’t do enough to make our stay one of the best we’ve ever had. David and Sharon made us feel so welcome, the site itself has panoramic views of the beautiful Staffordshire moorland, so, so many lovely touches around this site make for an unforgettable stay. The site is so well maintained, they’ve got this site to feel wild but well kept which is one hell of a skill to have, the owners and managers should be so proud of what’s been achieved here, beautiful. We wish we’d found this site sooner, but we know already that we will return here on a regular basis.

We have just returned from camping here for two nights. We had pitch one which we shared with my uncles family so there were 8 of us in total and a dog. Plenty of space for our cars and tents plus a game of badminton! We were met when we arrived by Dave who was absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful. The toilets/showers/kitchen were very clean, I personally loved the multi coloured lights that shone the way to the toilets etc at nighttime. The fire pit which was provided by the campsite was perfect and easy to purchase some fire wood from Dave as we always were able to see him around the campsite. Having the pop up pizza tent was great as we really wasn’t in the mood to cook after putting out tents up! Can’t wait to return again and explore more of the area :)
