Nice little site basic but clean -facilities were fine lovely area very peaceful and some nice walks locally. Lovely park for kids just down the track would def stay again

Avoid the shop here at all costs. Cold drinks in fridge are warm. £8 for 2 ice creams. 2 scoops in each ice cream without actually asking us if we wanted 2 scoops. This cost us more. I asked if the waffle cones need to be 2 scoops and the girl said yes. Really? Surely we should be asked if we want 2 scoops before being charged for it. Also no prices on the drinks in the warm fridge. I can see they're trying to make a killing here with the cafe closed at the country park. Avoid this place. Extortion.

This compact little site nestles close to the Wyre estuary and offers a toilet and shower block in good condition, chemical toilet disposal point and the most helpful lady owner who was happy to explain and show anything. It was full when we visited so felt quite busy. The actual campsite is below a large electricity pylon but it didn't seem to detract from quite a nice atmosphere. There's plenty of walks along the estuary and takeaways aren't too far away. I think if you were keen to stay in the area this site would be pretty good as it's not too far from Blackpool

Just had a two night stay and can't speak highly enough about the site. Very competitive price and, good clean facilities. The Lady that runs the site is very helpfull and friendly. Peace and quiet is the order of the day. Walks galour from the site. I Would most definately recommend this site and, we are looking forward to a return visit.
